What can a new co-op puzzle game about sustainability learn from dentistry?

Did you know that NHS dental services are responsible for 3% of the total carbon footprint of the NHS? As part of our game development, we focus on collaborating with academics from Healthy Futures who are dedicated to tackling climate change.

Did you know that NHS dental services are responsible for 3% of the total carbon footprint of the NHS? As part of our game development, we focus on collaborating with academics from Healthy Futures who are dedicated to tackling climate change.

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a highly engaging workshop with two academics, Dr. Helen Chen and Professor Xiaojing Chen, who have extensive knowledge and experience in sustainable dentistry. We discussed the challenges that the dental industry faces in becoming more environmentally friendly, including decontamination, waste disposal, and the use of single-use plastics. Our team of young developers was especially interested in the subject matter, and they asked Dr. Helen and Professor Xiaojing a range of questions that led to a productive and inspiring discussion.

Thanks to the insights and knowledge gained during the workshop, both academics and developers brainstormed a range of innovative ideas for the development of our new co-op puzzle game, Resourceful.World. These ideas will help raise awareness about the significance of sustainability in dentistry and beyond. We remain committed to collaborating with experts like Dr. Helen and Professor Xiaojing to promote a more sustainable future for all.
